Bergen in its white jacket !

This kind of exceptional weather was worth going by foot to the city center !

Gayou, Kathrin, Hélène, Jean, Nicolas, Anne (Fr) and Aurélie (Fr)

Enter in Bryggen, the old wharf of Bergen, is a reminder of the town's importance as part of the Hanseatic League's trading empire.

The famous Klar Bar ! Nice view while dancing.

Traditional sun(ny)day walk

Before such an expedition in the mountains you need a nice big brunch with Nutella substitute !

Here we are, climbing up the hill, still full of energy.

The second lake on our way, but the first one which was frozen.

The third lake, almost on the top of the mountain.

Finally, this view is worth all the climbing and the freezing wind !

The cafeteria - nice place to get some coffee

The cafeteria and library from outside

Up the stairs on the way to the Merino building, another part of the school where we unfortunatly have most of our courses. Just look at the next picture...

Takes you two minutes to get down, but 12 minutes to get up ;-)

Downtown Bergen : Klar Bar & Disco-Taxi !

Thursday evening is the night when norwegian students go out. And so did most of us exchange students.
One of NHH students' favourite place is the "Klar Bar" near the fishmarket with view on the harbour.

Tired and exhausted as we were, we just wanted to go back by taxi. But in Bergen, Party never really finishes. Here comes: DJ Driver in his Disco Taxi !

Eleven of us, gathered in one taxi, surrounded by neon lights and loud techno music.

Thanks for the ride, Mr. DJ. We will never forget it. See you soon !

Official Welcome Ceremony with the rector of NHH

Our Matriculation Ceremony took place in a hall build 1897 called Stupet, which means Precipice in Norwegian. It's used for special occasions, e.g. receiving Nobel Prize Winner, Prime Minister or exchange students !
